The Great Invocation
From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let Light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.
From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let Love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.
From the center where the Will of Gd is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men --
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.
From the center which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out.
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.
Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth. |

Poles, 25
(approximately 7' long and 1/2' in diameter)
(suggested materials: bamboo (cane) or 1/2" pvc pipe;
alternatives of something such as grape stakes, or other,
will need a different method of securing into the ground).
Rebar, 25
sections, of 3/8", each approximately 18"-24" long
(to pound into ground with a small sledge hammer or strong hammer)
|
 |
Volleyball Net
30 foot long, to create an approximate 10' diameter netted "weave" circle
, with an opening for the gateway. (other netting ideas, such as chicken
wire or thin bailing wire)
Materials for pole tops
25 Colorful varieties, for the tops of each pole
( cut as simple rectangular strips of many colorful materials to simply tuck
into the top openings of each pole, or created as "flags": 12"x 18" or any
other dimension, with a sewn sleeve so they can be threaded onto the poles)
|
 |
 |
Equipment to secure the net and flags to poles
(for net: using long paper covered metal "twists", as from the market or other
small pieces of very thin wire or string will work)
(flags: after poking the material into the pole it can be further secured with
a rubber band or more "twist" ties)
|
Center pole
top with something special
(suggestions, use a flag of the planet, a prayer flag, a decorative
wind-sock whose colorful "tails" will flutter in the breeze, a pinwheel, many
long, narrow colorful ribbons
Gateway
(tie the two ends of the volleyball net together to create a "closed gate", or
make a special cloth "gate" to connect at the opening of the circle)
To enlarge the circle
(connect two sets of circle materials together to make it larger, etc.)
Materials for "weaving" into the "net"
(lengths of cloth: 3-4 feet long, in varying widths, such as a woman's scarf
or a man's tie or any other selected piece of colorful cloth, as simple as a
cut up t-shirt or as special as hand decorated or woven)
Prayer flags
(can be added to poles if desired: size around 12"x 12", with a 2-3" sleeve to
slip onto the pole. Prayers can be written in indelible ink with laundry
pens)
Carrier for the set of poles
(these can be easily carried in a double ski bag, if the lengths are about
6'10". Measure the bag to determine!
General materials list
(several extra poles, "just in case", sledge hammer or sturdy hammer, variety
of strong tapes, many "twisties", spool of thin wire or twine, pins (all
kinds) scissors, pens to mark, bucket if you want water, laundry pens, towels
for clean up, extra colorful materials, camera, film.
